Hi, I’m Meegan Godfrey—a certified professional dog trainer dedicated to helping dogs and their people build strong, lasting relationships through positive, science-based methods.

 

I began my journey at Animal Behavior College, where I earned my certification as a Positive Reinforcement Dog Trainer. There, I developed a strong foundation in humane, reward-based training focused on trust, communication, and behavior that lasts.

 

To deepen my expertise, I continued my education through the Animal Behavior Institute, becoming a Certified Service Dog and Therapy Dog Trainer. This advanced certification allows me to work with dogs on specialized training for public access, task work, and emotional support—always with the dog’s well-being at the center.

 

I am certified by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT-KA)—a nationally recognized organization that upholds the highest standards in ethical, science-based dog training.

 

Whether you’re starting with a new puppy, working through behavior challenges, or preparing a dog for service or therapy work, I tailor every training plan to meet your dog’s unique needs and your personal goals. My mission is to create calm, confident canine companions through patience, clarity, and kindness.
